Frequently Asked Questions

The questions families ask us most.

Who is Beyond School Futures Academy for?

Parents and caregivers of children aged 8–18, and the young people themselves. Parent Academy™ is written for the adults in the family; the Money Smart™, Future Entrepreneurs™, Digital Innovation Lab™, Transition Boot Camp™ and Creatives Academy™ pathways are written for children and teenagers, usually split by age group.

How do I enrol in a programme?

Create a free account, then open the pathway or course you want and choose "Enrol". You will find everything you are enrolled in on your dashboard, with your progress saved as you go.

Do I need to pay to start?

Online card and mobile-money payments are not switched on yet. Until they are, enrolment through the website gives you access without an online payment step. If you are interested in a programme that lists a price, contact us and the team will confirm the current arrangement before you begin.

Can my child have their own account?

Yes — a young person can register with their own email address and their own login. Linked parent-and-child family accounts, where one parent dashboard oversees several children, are planned but not available yet.

How does progress tracking work?

Each lesson has a completion tick. As lessons are marked complete, your course progress percentage updates automatically, and your dashboard shows where you left off in every programme.

How do certificates work?

When you complete every lesson in a course, a Certificate of Completion is issued automatically — there is nothing to request. It appears on your dashboard, carries a unique verification code, and can be opened or printed at any time.

Can someone verify a certificate I have been given?

Yes. Every certificate carries a unique code, and anyone holding that code can open the certificate directly to confirm it is genuine and see who it was issued to.

I did not receive my verification email. What should I do?

Check your spam or promotions folder first, as the message can land there. The link expires 60 minutes after it is sent — if yours has expired, use the "resend verification" option on the login page to request a fresh one.

I have forgotten my password.

Self-service password reset is not available on the site yet. Please contact us and the team will help you regain access to your account.

Do the programmes work on a phone?

Yes. The whole platform — including the lesson player, quizzes and downloadable workbooks — is designed to work on phones and tablets as well as on a computer.

How do I stop receiving the newsletter?

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Using it removes you immediately, and it does not affect your learning account.
