Legal

Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Beyond School Futures Academy when you use this website and our learning platform.

Awaiting legal review

These terms accurately describe how the platform currently works, but they have not yet been reviewed by a legal advisor. BSFA should confirm the wording, add the academy's registered operating details and governing jurisdiction, and remove this notice before launch.

1. Agreement

By using this website, creating an account or enrolling in a programme, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

2. Who may use the platform

An adult may create an account for themselves. A parent or guardian may create or approve an account for a child in their care, and remains responsible for that child's use of the platform.

You agree to give accurate information when you register, to keep your password confidential, and to tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account. You are responsible for activity that takes place under your login.

3. Your account

We ask you to verify your email address when you register. Accounts are personal to the individual named on them and should not be shared — a single login is not intended to give a whole class, group or organisation access to a programme. If you need access for several learners, please talk to us about a school or partnership arrangement.

We may suspend or close an account that is being used to share paid content, to harass others, or in any way that breaks these terms.

4. Programmes and enrolment

Enrolling in a programme gives you a personal, non-transferable right to access that programme's lessons, videos, downloadable workbooks and assessments for your own learning, or your child's.

We may add to, update or reorganise programme content — including improving lessons or replacing materials — as our frameworks develop. We aim to make changes that improve the learning experience rather than reduce it.

5. Payments

Online payment is not currently processed on this website. Where a programme lists a price, arrangements are confirmed directly with the BSFA team. When online payment is introduced, the applicable prices, payment methods and refund terms will be published here and on the relevant programme pages before any charge is made.

6. Certificates

A Certificate of Completion is issued automatically once every lesson in a course has been completed. Each certificate carries a unique verification code so that its authenticity can be confirmed.

A BSFA certificate records completion of a Beyond School programme. It is not a formal academic qualification and is not accredited by a national examinations body.

7. Our content

The programmes, lessons, videos, workbooks, images and the Beyond School frameworks — including the Beyond School Blueprint™, the Beyond School DNA™ and the Six Pillars Framework™ — are the intellectual property of Beyond School Futures Academy and are protected by copyright.

You may use and print materials for your own family's learning. You may not copy, republish, resell, distribute or teach from our content commercially, or share your access with people who have not enrolled, without our written permission.

8. Content you provide

Anything you upload — a profile photo, a message to our team — remains yours. By uploading it you allow us to store and display it as needed to operate the platform. Please do not upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that belongs to someone else.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or to another person's account, not to interfere with its normal operation, not to download or copy content in bulk by automated means, and not to use the platform to harass, endanger or mislead anyone — with particular care given that this is a space used by children and families.

10. Availability

We work to keep the platform running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and occasional technical faults may make the service temporarily unavailable.

11. Educational purpose

Our programmes are educational. They are designed to support parents and young people with practical skills, character development and future readiness. They are not a substitute for professional advice — including financial, legal, medical, psychological or educational assessment advice — and should not be relied on as such. Decisions you take for your family remain yours.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. The "last updated" date above will always show when they last changed, and continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: admin@beyondschoolfutures.com, or use our contact form.
