About Beyond School
The world is changing faster than traditional learning can keep up with. Beyond School Futures Academy exists to help children and young people build the mindset, confidence, character and future-ready skills they need to thrive — not only in school, but in life.
Beyond School began with a question.
As a mother, entrepreneur, educator and financial literacy trainer, Yvonne Sibanda found herself thinking deeply about the future her son, Ethan, and millions of other children were entering.
A future shaped by artificial intelligence, automation, entrepreneurship, digital innovation, global competition and change that moves faster every day.
She began to ask: are we preparing children only to pass examinations — or are we preparing them to think, adapt, create, lead and build meaningful lives?
The more she observed, the clearer it became: children need more than academic knowledge alone.
That question became the beginning of Beyond School.
Beyond School Futures Academy is a premium digital learning ecosystem designed to help families prepare children and young people for life beyond the classroom.
We are not here to replace schools.
Schools provide essential academic foundations. Beyond School strengthens the life foundations that help young people use what they learn with confidence, wisdom and purpose.
Through engaging digital programmes, practical challenges, parent learning, mentorship, future-skills experiences and signature frameworks, we help learners become more than successful students.
We help them become capable human beings — young people who can learn, adapt, create, communicate, solve problems, manage money, lead with character and contribute meaningfully wherever life takes them.
At Beyond School, we believe every child carries potential that cannot be measured by a report card alone.
Potential can look like curiosity. It can look like a child who asks difficult questions. It can look like a young person who notices a problem and wants to solve it. It can look like creativity, courage, kindness, leadership, resilience or an idea that has not yet been given room to grow.
Our work is to help families notice that potential, nurture it and turn it into capability.
Because the future will not only belong to those who know the answers. It will belong to those who can ask better questions, learn continuously, build solutions and lead with humanity.

This is not about creating perfect children. It is about raising prepared, grounded and capable young people.
Meet the Founder
Beyond School was founded by Yvonne Sibanda — a mother, entrepreneur, business development consultant, Certified Financial Literacy Trainer, author and passionate advocate for raising future-ready young people.
Her work has always centred on one powerful belief: knowledge should change lives.
Through years of working with businesses, families, young people and communities, Yvonne saw a consistent gap. Many people reach adulthood having passed through school, yet still feel unprepared for money decisions, career uncertainty, entrepreneurship, confidence, leadership, technology and the realities of life.
She knew the solution could not wait until adulthood. It had to begin earlier — at home, in everyday conversations, through practical experiences and through learning that helps children see themselves as capable creators of their own futures.
Her son Ethan became part of that discovery. The ordinary moments of parenting — questions, ideas, projects, money conversations, creativity, challenges and lessons learned together — revealed something important: learning, curiosity, creativity and play can exist beautifully together.
Those moments became the seeds from which Beyond School was born.
Today, that vision lives in her book, Beyond School – Raising Enterprising Children in a Changing World, and in the growing Beyond School Futures Academy movement.
